Yliopiston Apteekki (Mobile app design)
Objective
- To design a mobile application for Ylipiston Apteekki- A popular finish pharmacy- based on the service offerings they have in their web store.
- To apply different design principles that were learnt during the course and present to other students to get essential feedback about design understanding.
- To prepare usability test plan, making test cases and conduct the test itself for learning purposes.
Product Research
By researching the website of yliopiston Apteekki and their service offerings following major services were found to be included in our mobile application.
- Product lists by categories: general medicines, prescription drugs, vitamins and supplements, beauty care and promotion
- Buy normal products without prescriptions (general medicines, vitamins and supplements, beauty care, promotion)'
- Buy medicines from prescriptions
- Ask pharmacists by chat options
- Find the nearest store locations (details on the nearest store: opening hours, phone, address)
- User will have to sign up once for using the app (to enable the prescription buying process)
